An Abalone shell is used to hold the burning Impepho sage and a feather to fan and spread the smoke of the burning stick throughout the space. By including abalone shells in your smudging rituals means you are incorporating all four of the earth’s elements: the shell represents water, the smoke represents air, the unlit herbs or sticks represent earth and once they’re lit they represent fire.
This kit comes with an Impepho Smudge Stick, beautiful polished Abalone Shell & unique feather.
It’s beautifully presented with a small bag & charm, making a wonderful gift too.
The art of smudging can be used whenever you need to ground or re-balance your energy field, to help eliminate negative mental or emotional energy patterns and for general upliftment of the soul. It can also be used to lighten the atmosphere of an internal space, in preparation of a sacred space for healing or meditation and to cleanse personal objects and crystals.
