Not all Quartz is crystal clear.

What Is Snow Quartz?

The “snow” name describes its appearance.

“White Quartz” is broader and can simply describe Quartz that appears white.

For shopping purposes, appearance matters more than trying to force every white Quartz specimen into a perfectly separate category.
