My chrysoccola and malachite drusy (a drusy being a sample with a layer or more of one type of crystal growing on top of another) is a cheese or cake-shaped wedge about 5cm long, about 3cm wide at its base and about 2.5cms thick with the chrysoccola & malachite forming a brilliant icing-like thin layer on the one surface while the others are stark grey… It is really impressive turning it in your hand and watching the bright aquamarine side coming up after the grey. Its a delicate specimen requiring careful treatment but Hello Indigo Halo takes great care with all its packing & packages, so I have never had any problem with any of the many purchases I have made arriving in any state other than protected & intact. I really appreciate this care, I see it as part of customer service & since we are dealing with crystal & gem samples, it couldn’t be more welcome & appreciated. I have had purchases from other dealers arrive with stones stuffed into envelopes with other stones with no regard seemingly for the resulting degredation & scratching which had occurred as a result. The drusy looks as good as the pics had promised it would, but I want to use this review to comment on Hello Indigo Halo’s packaging standards – and this drusy was a perfect example of why I don’t have to worry about the state my purchases are going to arrive in. The Courier Guy also takes care & my packages never bear outward signs of having been manhandled and treated roughly. By the way, have you noticed Hello Indigo Halo couriers for nearly half the price that other dealers do (if you spend under R700)? Other dealers would ask R130 for an order which Hello Indigo will courier for R75 – great if you make smaller purchases. So, I am a happy Indigo customer for these two non-product-related, post-purchase considerations: the careful packaging & careful handling of our purchases – which alone are reasons to recommend Hello Indigo Halo when it gets to buying crystals online which will be couriered to you – they simply give you peace of mind without extra charges!
